PEER INFLUENCE: this can also be an example of stealing, peer influence has made so many students has gone astray by this,a student can easily be influenced by the friends they move with either influenced in a good way or bad way.

There is also a case of just feeling the need or urge to steal without having any reason even if they have or can afford what they want to steal. In this case, some Nigerians refer to it as “the work of their village people” while some call it “ise aye”. But English language calls it “Kleptomania”.
KLEPTOMANIA is a rare but serious mental health disorder where a person has a recurrent inability to resist urges to steal items that they don’t really need and usually have little value to them.

MAKING PEOPLE UNHAPPY: most times, students steal to make their fellow student miserable maybe because such person has offended them or they just have great hatred for them.
