The entertainment industry in Nigeria is quite impressive, it consists of artists, actors and many others. They go all out to ensure that we are virtually entertained. Actors in Nigeria have developed themselves a lot now more than before. In the past, to me, Nigerian movies were tatty but now, there have really developed tremendously.
Nigerian actors are really good at their jobs, they take every role given to them well, the likes of Funke Akindele, I love her so much, she is so funny and natural, from Jenifa then she started Jenifa’s diary, my siblings and I, Ayetoro town etc. she never stops giving us content in each and every episode which is impressive, Sharon Ooja is my role model because she is a fashionista and I love fashion a lot, Sharon always slays which is one of the things I really like about her, she has a really amazing personality, she is super fun and she is also good at what she does, she also knows how to get the attention of her viewers.
Odunlade Adekola is hilarious, there is no way you will watch any of his movies without laughing even if it is not comedy, he is too good, I really commend him. Sola Sobowale brings all her energy into acting that’s one of the things I love about her, she makes acting seem so easy. She is a natural I must say like this movie, ”King of boys” I was so stunned when I saw that movie, it was action packed and she did excellently well together with several other actors. I also admire greatly the CEO of ebonylife Mo Abudu, ebonylife is known for the great movies they produce, always serving us with good entertainment, movies like chief daddy, wedding party, royal hibiscus hotel and so on. Mo Abudu recently launched the “ebonlife place” in Lagos, it is a really beautiful building. I really commend her success.
Nigerian artists are truly good and they are really doing well for themselves. Nigerian artists make really good jams, they give really good vibes and they are listened to everywhere in the world. Currently afrobeat is the most listened to worldwide. Just this year Beyonce featured a few Nigerian artists in her songs for her “Lion King album” the likes of Burna boy, Yemi Alade, Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, Mr Eazi and Tekno. I really love Nigerian artists, they bring their A-game when singing or performing and their energy during any of their performance is sincerely appropriate. Speaking of dance steps, artists in Nigeria have given us several dance steps to battle with back to back the likes of Naira Marley with his new single “Tesumole” the tesumole dance has been trending for quite a while now not only in Nigeria but over the world, distinctive celebrities posted videos of them trying the tesumole dance, few days ago I saw a video of a white guy trying the tesumole dance and I must say it was really nice.
Honestly, Nigerian artists really give us the entertainment that we seek. It is also no news that a lot of Nigerian artists are been nominated for or have won numerous international awards the likes of Burna boy, Davido, Wizkid, Yemi Alade, Femi Kuti, King Sunny Ade, 2Face Idibia, Tiwa Savage and a lot more. They appeal to a lot of audience; they have a wide variety of music. There is also one thing I love about the songs Nigerian artist produce, some of their songs are really cheerful and there is no how a person in a sad state would not want to dance or hype when some of these songs come up. Another thing I love about artists in Nigeria is that they go all out to support each other.
I must say the entertainment industry in Nigeria is really making waves, most of the actors and artists in Nigeria have done so many great things, they have done so well for themselves. It is so beautiful to know that youths like me have people like them to call role models and mentors, that we can always turn to them for advice, support and also finding our paths.
